Attendees are grouped by room, but an export needs a single list of names. Removing one nesting level gives the needed roster.
The attendees are grouped into three room lists: Mina and Sam, Jo, then Ari and Lee. An export needs five names in one sequence. We will remove that room-list nesting with flat while keeping the grouped source available.

Try the working result
The result contains Mina, Sam, Jo, Ari, and Lee. The source still shows the three groups. Add another attendee inside a room list and update the preview; the name joins the flattened result in the same room sequence.
Use Changed data for another preset, or edit the JSON and press Update preview. The controls use sample data; they do not contact a backend.

Follow the code
flat defaults to depth one and copies the room lists' names into a new array.
flat() defaults to a depth of one. It appends the elements of each nested array into a new result array. That exactly matches the one room-grouping level in this sample. It does not retain each attendee’s room label, so preserve that information separately when an export needs it.
const data = [
[
"Mina",
"Sam"
],
[
"Jo"
],
[
"Ari",
"Lee"
]
];
const result = data.flat();
console.log(result);
The original sample returns:
[
"Mina",
"Sam",
"Jo",
"Ari",
"Lee"
]
The result is flatter, but its order still follows the room groups. Flattening is not alphabetical sorting, deduplication, or a decision about which attendees to include.

Take the small version apart
The starter uses the same operation with a simpler layout. Choose Edit code to inspect its HTML and script, or Copy code to save the complete example as index.html. Open that file in your browser to run it without a framework. JSON inputs need double-quoted keys and strings.

Avoid the common mistake
Deeper nesting remains unless you supply a greater depth. Holes at flattened levels are removed.
For ["Mina", ["Sam", ["Jo"]]], flat() still leaves ["Jo"] nested; flat(2) reaches that additional level. Choose the depth to match your data rather than always flattening everything. Real sparse-array holes are removed at flattened levels; JSON null entries are actual values and remain.
Change one rule, then check it
Add a nested subgroup and compare flat() with flat(2).
An empty room list contributes no names, and an empty source returns []. Add a deeper subgroup to one room and compare flat() with flat(2). Check that the result still contains the expected attendees before formatting it for an export.

The MDN reference covers the full syntax and browser support. If your saved page does not run its script, the HTML and JavaScript guide helps check the file setup.
Put the example in someone else's hands
An export transformation should be reviewed for lost context as well as visible names. Share the grouped and flattened preview so someone can confirm whether room membership needs to travel with each attendee in the final format.
Copy the complete HTML and use HTML to link to share the runnable file through NOS. Each visitor can try the browser-side example; this does not synchronize edits or add a shared database.
