A route preview starts at the museum and traces the trip back toward home. Walking the stop array from the right keeps that display order obvious. This example uses reduceRight to fold the stops into one string instead of first reversing the source list.
The finished route reads Museum <- Station <- Home. Starting at the end matches the question: how do we retrace this trip toward its origin? The input stays Home, Station, Museum. reduceRight carries a growing accumulator through those stops, so the direction comes from the traversal rather than from reversing the source and possibly surprising another consumer.

Try the result before changing the rule
Edit the JSON and select Update preview to rerun the same expression. Original data restores this starting sample; Changed data supplies another preset. The operation runs locally in the example, so trying a value does not send an invitation, change a product, or save a setting.

Follow one run
The explicit empty-string accumulator starts the fold. reduceRight visits Museum, Station, and Home, appending each earlier stop to the growing route string. The result reads Museum back toward Home. No reverse operation changes the input, and the initial value also makes an empty route safe.
const data = [
"Home",
"Station",
"Museum"
];
const result = data.reduceRight((route,stop) => route === '' ? stop : route + ' <- ' + stop,'');
console.log(result);
The starting sample returns:
"Museum <- Station <- Home"
Keep the input array beside the result while testing. The source provides the items and their order; the expression defines what you retrieve or build from them. A changed result is not evidence that the source was edited. This particular callback or lookup leaves that input unchanged.

Check the case that changes the answer
Without an initial value, an empty array throws a TypeError and a single-element array never calls the callback. Supplying the starting accumulator makes those edge cases easier to reason about.
A string accumulator makes the effect of each step visible. The first visited stop replaces the empty string; later stops append an arrow and a name. Changing the callback to place the new stop before the accumulator would change the output direction, even though reduceRight would still visit from right to left.
The smaller version keeps the same expression with fewer visual elements. Use Edit code to inspect the complete HTML, or Copy code to run it as a local file. If the script does not execute, the JavaScript troubleshooting guide helps check placement and syntax.

Make one edit you can predict
Add a Cafe stop after Museum and rerun. Then use an empty array and a one-stop route to check how the initial accumulator affects each result.
Append Cafe and expect Cafe <- Museum <- Station <- Home. A one-stop input containing Home returns Home, and an empty array returns the supplied empty string. These small cases test the initial value and separator rule. They also prevent an empty route from accidentally throwing before your interface can show its empty state. Choose arrow direction deliberately for your interface. The backward traversal describes the order of calculation; the string you build decides how the route reads to a traveler.

Keep strings double-quoted when editing this sample. A JSON parsing example explains the difference between a parse error and a valid value that the operation cannot use.
A route direction is easier to agree on when someone can change the stops. Put a representative trip in the HTML and share the runnable example through NOS, then ask a teammate whether the museum-to-home reading matches the journey you want the interface to describe. Their preview edits are local to their run; sharing the HTML does not automatically synchronize those edits.
