A history view and a newest-first summary share the same events. Editing the source order would change both screens.
The detailed history should remain oldest first, while a summary needs the latest event at the top. We will derive that summary with toReversed and leave Created draft first in the source. Both views can then use one event list.

Try the working result
The result starts with Approved release, while the source starts with Created draft. Add a new event at the end of the input and update the preview; it becomes the first returned event without moving the earlier entries in the source.
Use Changed data for another preset, or edit the JSON and press Update preview. The controls use sample data; they do not contact a backend.

Follow the code
toReversed returns a reversed copy while leaving the original history intact.
toReversed takes no arguments and returns a new array containing the same values in opposite order. It does not analyze timestamps or repair an unordered list. The input must already be chronological for this reversed sequence to represent newest-first history.
const data = [
"Created draft",
"Requested review",
"Approved release"
];
const result = data.toReversed();
console.log(result);
The original sample returns:
[
"Approved release",
"Requested review",
"Created draft"
]
The two first entries differ because the arrays have different orders. The event labels themselves are the same; reversal only changes where they appear.

Take the small version apart
The starter uses the same operation with a simpler layout. Choose Edit code to inspect its HTML and script, or Copy code to save the complete example as index.html. Open that file in your browser to run it without a framework. JSON inputs need double-quoted keys and strings.

Avoid the common mistake
Nested objects are still shared references. Verify availability on older embedded browsers.
A new array does not mean deeply independent events. If entries are objects, both arrays refer to the same objects. Editing a nested event field can therefore affect both. Check support for the browser versions you target; [...data].reverse() is a straightforward copying alternative for a dense array.
Change one rule, then check it
Add an event and rebuild the summary without mutating the history.
An empty input returns an empty result. Add a final Published update event and expect it at the top. Generate another reversed view from the same source: it should have the same order rather than flipping the source back and forth as reverse would.

The MDN reference covers the full syntax and browser support. If your saved page does not run its script, the HTML and JavaScript guide helps check the file setup.
Put the example in someone else's hands
A history design is easier to assess when the two reading orders are visible together. Share the example so someone can add an event and confirm where it belongs in the summary, while the detailed timeline still tells the story from the beginning.
Copy the complete HTML and use HTML to link to share the runnable file through NOS. Each visitor can try the browser-side example; this does not synchronize edits or add a shared database.
