An activity panel has daily counts of 18, 32, 24, and 29. The reader wants to spot the busiest day quickly without losing the individual values that explain the trend.
Math.max supplies the largest count. The demo returns 32 and leaves the original sequence intact. It establishes a useful summary number, while the day label still needs to come from the surrounding dataset rather than from max itself.

Find the peak while retaining the daily list
The spread in Math.max(...data) passes four separate arguments. The method compares those values and returns 32, the largest one. It neither sorts the list nor removes any entry.
Returning a maximum answers how large the busiest count was. It does not return which day produced it. If the interface needs a date, store each count with its date and identify the matching record. Multiple days can share the same maximum, so choose whether to display all ties or a clearly defined first match.
Keep the summary near the underlying daily data. That lets the reader distinguish a peak from a typical day instead of treating the maximum as an average.
const data = [
18,
32,
24,
29
];
const result = Math.max(...data);
console.log(result);
The original sample returns:
32

Empty and invalid datasets need their own state
An empty argument list returns -Infinity. A dashboard should detect an empty dataset and show "No activity recorded" before trying to render a busiest-day count.
Spread is convenient for small arrays such as this one, but enormous argument lists can exceed engine limits. For a large dataset, use an iteration or reduction that does not pass every entry as an individual function argument.
NaN in the supplied values can make the result NaN. Decide whether an invalid observation should be rejected or omitted, and communicate that choice. Quietly replacing every missing count with zero can change the meaning of the report.
Find all days that share the peak
Change one count to 40 and confirm the maximum updates while the sequence stays in order. Add another 40 and note that the numeric maximum is unchanged even though two days now share the peak.
Then try an empty array and build an explicit empty-state label. For a fuller activity panel, return the peak count together with the matching day labels. A number plus its context is more informative than a large standalone stat.

The MDN reference for Math.max() documents the method's full behavior and browser compatibility.
For help editing the sample input, the JSON guide explains valid JSON and how parsing turns it into JavaScript values.
Share a working explanation
Let someone review the tie and empty states before using the card in a report. Share the complete HTML via HTML to link on NOS so they can change the daily counts. This sample calculates in the browser; sharing the page does not connect it to a live activity feed.
