A small import stores the letters of NOS as numeric UTF-16 units. You need the text label those values represent, without pretending the conversion decodes a byte file. This example uses three simple units so the output can be checked directly.
The finished label is NOS: seventy-eight becomes N, seventy-nine becomes O, and eighty-three becomes S. The spread syntax supplies separate numeric arguments instead of one array object. That is enough for these simple letters, and the original number array remains unchanged. The conversion is about UTF-16 units, which is different from reading UTF-8 bytes from a downloaded file.

Try the result before changing the rule
Edit the JSON and select Update preview to rerun the same expression. Original data restores this starting sample; Changed data supplies another preset. The operation runs locally in the example, so trying a value does not send an invitation, change a product, or save a setting.

Follow one run
The spread expression passes the array's three numbers as separate arguments to String.fromCharCode. Those units represent N, O, and S, producing NOS. The method builds a new string and leaves the array alone. It interprets each supplied number as a UTF-16 code unit.
const data = [
78,
79,
83
];
const result = String.fromCharCode(...data);
console.log(result);
The starting sample returns:
"NOS"
The source panel retains the original value while the operation returns its result. Numbers shown here represent exactly what this function reads or constructs; they are not automatically a character count or a byte encoding. Keeping the raw value visible makes that distinction easier to check with a second sample.

Check the case that changes the answer
fromCharCode truncates numbers to sixteen bits and does not accept full supplementary code points as one character. Use fromCodePoint for those values and a decoder for encoded byte data.
The function can also assemble a supplementary character when you supply its two surrogate units explicitly. A lone full emoji code point is not handled the same way, because each argument is converted to a sixteen-bit unit. Prefer fromCodePoint when your input really contains Unicode code points instead of already prepared code units.
The smaller version keeps the same expression with fewer visual elements. Use Edit code to inspect the complete HTML, or Copy code to run it as a local file. If the script does not execute, the JavaScript troubleshooting guide helps check placement and syntax.

Make one edit you can predict
Replace the units with sixty-five and sixty-six, then compare an emoji code point using fromCharCode and fromCodePoint. Keep the array small when spreading arguments.
Use sixty-five and sixty-six to produce AB. Use an empty array and expect an empty string. For the smile, try the two units 55357 and 56832 together; they produce the symbol. Compare that with a single 128512 input in fromCodePoint, which expresses the same character without manually preparing a surrogate pair. The supplied numbers are units rather than file bytes. If your real input comes from an encoded file, choose an appropriate text decoder instead of guessing from this example.

Keep strings double-quoted when editing this sample. A JSON parsing example explains the difference between a parse error and a valid value that the operation cannot use.
Before choosing a converter for imported numbers, confirm whether they represent code units, code points, or encoded bytes. Share the runnable HTML through NOS with a small sample so a teammate can inspect the generated letters and see where a different decoding tool is needed. Their preview edits are local to their run; sharing the HTML does not automatically synchronize those edits.
